The 7 th of October, Christophe Congues, President of Euralis, took part in the annual conference of the Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables (the French renewable energies union). Entitled “With a green recovery, let’s give meaning to progress”, this 22nd edition brought together the main private and public players in the energy sector (EDF, the European Commission’s Directorate General for Climate Action, Dalkia, ADEME, GEDF, ENGIE, etc…).
As usual, the colloquium offered debates and round tables on topical strategic topics for all renewable energy sectors. Different issues were addressed: which raw material resources for the development of renewable energies, the French energy mix by 2050 or the link between the agricultural sector and renewable energies. Christophe Congues took part in the debate: after sharing his experience of agrivoltaism on his farm, he broadened the spectrum to the agricultural sector, explaining how ENr is an opportunity for agriculture, and vice versa. He also recalled Euralis’s ambition to become a producer of renewable energy.
